Stephanie Moroney (17, Manchester, MA) and Steve Wright (17, Holliston, MA) took top honors at the first stage of the 2008 USAT Northeast Junior Development Series.  Wright is the defending series champion, while Moroney was last year’s runner-up.  Both are headed to Des Moines, Iowa, next weekend for the USAT Junior Elite Cup.  The competition was hosted by the Hyannis Sprint I Triathlon at Craigville Beach on Cape Cod.  The athletes were greated by a beautiful Cape morning, with calm seas, a scenic bike course, and a rolling run in not-too-hot conditions.
